If you own a rental property, you will need to provide details of rental income, mortgage interest, and other expenses such as council rates, water rates, property agent fees, strata fees, repairs and maintenance, depreciation (if a depreciation report was prepared), miscellaneous costs, and electricity. Your property agent can usually provide a summary covering most of these expenses, though their statements typically do not include electricity, council rates, and mortgage interest.
